Rio Ferdinand's Air Force 1's

The latest Nike Air Force 1 to come from the 1World project is a collaboration with Manchester United and England defender, Rio Ferdinand. At the top of his game, captaining United in what proved to be a very successful year (never mind Champions league, plus he never captained that game,) and always displaying fine form when on the pitch, Nike's choice of partnership (their first ever 1World collab with a British athlete) is well deserved.

The sneaker comes in a white premium leather colorway, with a see-through gum sole and gold embroidery details on the tongue logo and the heel.

The design isn't very out there colourway or material wise, but works as a very clean and simple shoe.

Interviewed here by the We Are HQ posse who caught him at Nike 1948 during the Q&A event that was hosted in honour of these dropping.

Enjoyed the interview, then you'll love his Online Magazine "5" which is fresh, current, and gives us fans a glimpse into Rio's world off pitch.
