Nike X Insa Exhibition 2

As i didn't manage to make it to the preview, and still haven't been (what can i say, but i've been busy!!!) here's the low down of the exhibition, with images taken from mr iD, Freethought.

'Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places is a stunning new solo
installation and exhibition by the infamous London-based artist INSA,
and opens on 17th July in association with the Nike Sportswear IAM1
launch of the 2009 Air Maxim. INSA’s first London show of 2009
promises to be a spectacular return in true INSA fashion, a multimedia
mix of large scale installations, canvases, photography, prints,
exclusive collaboration products and a stunning animation made up of
35 frames which were hand painted across east London in 7 days.
The Nike Sportswear IAM1 project celebrates the launch of the Air
Maxim, the evolved ’87 Air Max 1 for 2009 and an all encompassing
London project that brings together Charlie Dark and the Run Dem Crew,
the talented young producer Goldielocks, visionary artist Benedict
Radcliffe and of course, our man INSA.'

Location: 1948, Arches 477 - 478, Batemans Row, Shoreditch, London,
EC2 3HH
Public Show: 17th July - 26th July 2009

Yesawi is BBC/ Ice Cream Shoot.

Big Props on BBC's (Billionaire's Boys Club) new lines which seem to be more sophisticated and avant-garde. Veering towards the realms of high-end menswear, Ice Cream (another brand from Pharell William's) has also taken a more grown up look to their designs, ditching the cartoonish, bubble gum images of older season's.
The collection so far, and look book images look very strong, which has been reciprocated on sites such as Hypebeast, Kanye West's blog and Honeyee to name a few. And i reckon the model in the photo shoot has brought some addes appeal to the the images (regardless of the tiger's head on his shoulder...lol). This guy is definitely one to watch!!!!!

Off The Rador

Sunday 12th July saw Trapstar's 'Off the Rador' event go down a STORM at Westbourne Studio's. Having dragged myself up and out of bed early times, all the way (north to west certainly aint as easy as north to east....on bus!!!!) to West London, there was definately positive (and hungover) vibes at the event. The queue for Trapstar was ridiculous as per, and was a reminder that these cats are killing it when it comes to streetwear and with a fan base....yes, i said a fanbase, showed others in the game that hard work and GOOD designs pay off.

Overall, the day was a huge sucess for all brands involved; Benjart, Ask Your Girl and Charlatan to name a few, leaving us fans, as well as those who never brought their cash, waiting in anticipation for the next opportunity to get our dirty hands on these UK streetwear goodies.

Some of the day's best sneakers snapped!!

Thanks to all that got snapped for the blog,
Peace, love and kicks.
